What's missing?

You don’t have to be overwhelmed by the problems in your life or the problems in this world. God wants you to have peace in the middle of it all. But how is that possible? God knows the struggles we go through, and He even knows our deepest emotions. It’s His desire to help us through it all. Apart from God there is no lasting peace even in the good things of life. Only He can give us true peace.

 

We are separated by sin.

Our biggest obstacle to peace is our separation from God. The Bible tells us that every man has sinned against God. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Sin brought separation from God and brought death. “Wherefore as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” (Romans 5:12). Without Jesus we face this life and eternity without God.

 

God made a way through Christ.

God loved you so much that He made a way for you to know Him. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose again for you. He can free you from the penalty of sin by bringing you into a personal relationship with God. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).

 

Repent, Believe, and Confess.

Repenting of your sins means that you are turning from what displeases God to ask forgiveness and to follow Christ. Come to Jesus Christ now, just as you are. He will not reject you. Jesus said, “Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out” (John 6:37). The Bible promises, “As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 1:12).
